 Pen Points Press poet Ross Thompson, and editor Colin Dardis, will be doing a couple of short readings at part of The Squat Pen, in No Alibis bookstore on Botanic Avenue, Belfast, on Wednesday night.
Organised by local poets Ray Givans and Paul Jeffcutt, this is their second event; please come along and support this great new night. The first one was packed, so make sure to get down early.

 Welcome to Edi[t]fy #1, the result of an collaborative online poetry experiment, curated by Geraldine O'Kane and Colin Dardis.
Fifteen poets had their work randomly coupled together, asking them to give over their first drafts, and allow them to be chopped, changed, expanded, reduced and re-imagined by another poet, in other words, 'editfied'.  Issue 7 of FourXFour Poetry Journal is out now, featuring Olive Broderick, Lynne Edgar, Paula Matthews and Nandi Jola.
"You’ll notice that this issue contains a quartet of woman poets. Whereas more by accident that design, we think this is a great opportunity to address the brilliant writing and work carried out by female scribes within Northern Ireland. |
