Thank you to all our readers and to everyone who came out to support our Showcase Reading for ‪‎Poetry Day Ireland. It was a fantastic night in a lovely setting at The Book Reserve, and all our poets did a tremendous job in delivering quality sets. A special thanks to Poetry Ireland for supporting the event and making it possible. We hope everyone enjoyed their Poetry Day, whatever you were up to - the next one is planned for April 27th, 2017, so let's have more events happening then in Ulster!

Songs, Sonnets and Soliloquies - Shakespeare Night

Poetry NI is partnering with Marginal Theatre for an event celebrating all things Shakespearean.

'Songs, Sonnets and Soliloquies' gathers together a fantastic line up of poets, readers and musicians, including Olive Broderick, David Braziel, Nathan Armstrong, Matthew Rice, Paula Matthews, Annemaire Mullan, Michael Conaghan, Victor Henriques, Lorraine Taylor and others.

Come along to hear choice selections from Shakespeare's cannon, plus original material inspired and influenced by the scribe.

The event is free. Join us at Waterstones Belfast, Saturday 23rd April 6.30pm.
