Panning for Poems

Picture

Welcome to Panning for Poems, our quarterly micropoetry journal. We love short poems with huge impact, so if you think you have little nuggets that will knock the breath from us, then we want your work.

Panning for Poems is designed as a double-sided A4 broadside, each containing approximately eleven poems, laid out to be folded up and fitted into your pocket. Occasionally, we'll print out the latest issue and leave them folded up in unsuspecting places for people to discover.

Each issue can be downloaded in pdf format for free, printed out and distributed by anyone, anywhere. (When printing, print on both sides, and flip on the short edge of the page.)

Submissions
We invite you to think small and submit. We are especially interested in submissions from residents of Northern Ireland, although we do accept work from outside of NI.

Send up to three micro poems, 3-8 lines long (including line breaks, 35 character limit per line) in the body of an email to [email protected]. Include a cover letter with your submission.
